LYNASS, John ²

   Another name for John was LYNASS, Patrick.

  General Notes:

John was a merchant, according to the marriage certificate of his son John in 1870.

However, in his son John's death certificate in 1879, John's father was called 'Patrick' Lynass. The informant on this occasion was Lionel Lynass, a grandson of John senior and son of John junior. John senior, or 'Patrick', was described there as 'wine merchant deceased'. No mother's name was given. ^{2 3}

John married Jane MULLAN. (Jane MULLAN was born about 1775.)

John next married Thomas DEVINE, son of Michael Gerard DEVINE and Norah MARTIN, on 8 Apr 1638 in Fetteresso parish, Kincardineshire, Scotland.¹ (Thomas DEVINE was born about 1946.)
