Neil married Charles TWEEDLEY, son of Daniel TWEEDLIE and Ann DOOL, on 7 Jun 1889 in 5 Brown Street, Edinburgh, Scotland.² (Charles TWEEDLEY was born about 1806 in Magherafelt, County Derry, Ireland ^{3 4} and died 14 July 1877 at 6.00 pm in 12 Claybrae, Glasgow, Scotland ⁵.). The cause of his death was apoplexy.

The marriage took place after banns according to the forms of the Church of Scotland. The minister who married the couple was Charles McGregor. The witnesses were William Miller and Hellen Turnbull.

Henry McKeen was an unmarried man of 25 years of age. He was a potato merchant. His residence was noted as 5 Brown Street, Edinburgh.
