  General Notes:

Helen Tweedley was the informant of her son James's birth in 1882. She gave the date and place of her marriage as 22 October 1869 at Glasgow.

Ellen remarried, according to her son Neil's marriage certificate in 1908. Her name there was recorded as "Ellen Jeffrey previously Tweedly MS Gunn (deceased)". Another source gives her second husband's name as James Gordon Jeffrey. ³
