  General Notes:

"This stone is erected by George McKilligin, Provost of Banff, in memory of his spouse Barbara Strachan, daughter of the late Alexander Strachan, merchant there. She died the 31st of December, 1795, aged 68. Their daughter Margaret and their son Robert are also interred here."

Barbara married George McKELLIGAN Provost of Banff and Shipmaster. (George McKELLIGAN Provost of Banff and Shipmaster was born about 1728 in Alness, Ross-Shire, Scotland and died on 29 Jan 1798.)
