BOYLE, Bridget
Another name for Bridget was ROURKE, Bridget.1 General Notes: Bridget Rourke was recorded by the 1881 census for Old Monkland parish living at 16 Merryston Square with her husband, her brother in law, and eight of her children, aged between 1 year and 14 years. She herself was recorded as being 42 years old and having been born in Ireland. 1 Bridget married Philip O'ROURKE, son of Patrick O'ROURKE and Mary BURNS, on 13 February 1866 in Coatbridge, Lanarkshire, Scotland. (Philip O'ROURKE was born about 1844 in Ireland and died 7 January 1918 at 6.15 pm in 25a Dundyvan Road, Coatbridge, Lanarkshire, Scotland.). The cause of his death was bronchitis. Marriage Notes: The marriage was celebrated after banns according to the rites and forms of the Roman Catholic Church. The priest was Michael O' Keeffe CC, and the witnesses were James Brady and Mary McGrorty. |
