In her husband's death certificate of 1885, Thomson Tweedly was recorded as the 'widower of Jessie Sinclair'. ²

Janet married Thomson TWEEDLEY, son of Peter TWEEDLEY and Elizabeth FOSTER, on 16 November 1838 in Glasgow, Scotland.¹ (Thomson TWEEDLEY was born about 1811 in County Donegal, Ireland ³ and died 1 August 1885 at 5.30 am in 167 Govan Street, Glasgow, Scotland ⁴.). The cause of his death was bronchitis over 28 days.
