General Notes: James was recorded as Fanny's husband in the parish relief application of Fanny Tweedly in 1878. He was recorded as being a miner in East Benhar, near Linlthgow. 1 James married Fanny SMITH, daughter of William SMITH Blacksmith and Frances QUIGLEY. (Fanny SMITH was born about 1826 in West Arthurlie, Barrhead, Renfrewshire, Scotland and died after November 1878.) |
