James married Mary VALLELY, daughter of Patrick VALLELY and Ann RAFFERTY, on 20 September 1906 in St Mary's RC Church, Abercrombie Street, Glasgow, Scotland.¹ (Mary VALLELY was born on 30 May 1868 in Springburn, Lanarkshire, Scotland ².)

  Marriage Notes:

James was a journeyman bricklayer of 153 Garngad Road Glasgow. He was aged 40 years and a bachelor. Both of his parents were deceased at the time of his marriage.

Mary lived at 94 Bellgrove Street Glasgow and was aged 37 years. She had not been married before, and like James, her parents were deceased.

The marriage was celebrated according to the rites and forms of the Roman Catholic Church. Fr John J. Dyer solemnised the marriage. The witnesses were John Vallely and Kate Lynch. The marriage was registered on 26 September 1906, James Moore acting as registrar. ¹
