John Vallally, who was present where the death occurred, gave notice of his son Henry's death at 50 Fore Street before the registrar, James Gregory, at Kilmarnock on 16 June 1863 and made his X mark. In Henry's death certificate John was recorded as a labourer. 3


John married Julia O'BRIEN on 19 December 1828 in Penicuik, Midlothian, Scotland.1 (Julia O'BRIEN was born about 1805 and died after 16 June 1863.)
