Mary married Richard LYNESS, son of Richard LYNESS and Margaret CROMBIE, on 15 November 1895 in St Mungo's Chapel, Glasgow, Scotland.1 (Richard LYNESS was born on 20 April 1865 in Bathgate, West Lothian, Scotland 3 5 and died 22 August 1942 at 9.00 pm in 10 Roslea Drive, Glasgow, Scotland 6.). The cause of his death was carcinoma of the oesophagus.

The marriage was celebrated according to the rites and forms of the Catholic Church. Justin Muldoon was the celebrating priest. The witnesses were Thomas Dillon and Mary Lyness.
