James married Rose FEELY, daughter of Terence FEELY and Helen KEENAN, on 22 April 1889 in RC Chapel, Motherwell, Lanarkshire, Scotland.¹ (Rose FEELY was born 14 July 1858 at 7.00 am in Rumblingsykes, Parish of Dalziel, Lanarkshire, Scotland ^{5 6}.)

  Marriage Notes:

The marriage was celebrated after banns according to the rites and forms of the Roman Catholic Church. John Taylor CC celebrated the marriage. The witnesses were Joseph and Bridget Haughey.

James Berry was a bachelor and worked as a coalminer. He was recorded as 30 years of age and lived at 58 Berryhill Rows Wishaw. His father was deceased.

Rose Feely was a spinster and worked as a bleacher. She was 28 years old and lived at 51 Logans Row Motherwell.

The marriage was registered on 24 April 1889 at Dalziel, the registrar being Alex. L. Wright. ²
