The Post Office Directory for Glasgow 1881-1882 lists
'LYNAS, Isaac, hairdresser, 181 Trongate; house 63 Abercromby street.'
This probably referred to this Isaac Lynas. In the 1881 census, his father Joshua lived at 71 Abercromby Street, in the east end of Glasgow. 2 3


Isaac married Letitia BENNION on 18 October 1864 in 586 Gallowgate, Glasgow, Scotland.1 (Letitia BENNION was born about 1842.)
