Margaret was recorded as 52 years of age when she died in 1882. She was also recorded as "widow of John McAleney Harbour Labourer". Her parents were deceased. ^{1 2}

Cornelius Flynn, Margaret's son in law, occupier of the house and who was present where the death took place, gave notice of Margaret's death on 16 January 1882. ³
