  General Notes:

The informant of Michael's birth was Unity O'Donnell, grandmother of the child who had been present where he was born. She gave notice of the birth before the registrar William Jardine at Dumbarton on 1 October 1862, and made her X mark.

  Medical Notes:

Michael had no regular medical attendant.

Bridget Quigley, Michael's mother, who was present, gave notice of his death before the registrar, James Slater, at Greenock on 17 August 1863. 4
