He was recorded as 25 years of age, and was a married man with three small children, aged 5 years and under. James married Jean HARDIE, daughter of William HARDIE Farmer and Fiddler and Jean BARBER, on 5 June 1845 in Methlick parish, Aberdeenshire, Scotland. (Jean HARDIE was born on 10 July 1824 in Methlick parish, Aberdeenshire, Scotland, baptised on 14 February 1831 in Methlick parish, Aberdeenshire, Scotland and died 23 December 1899 at 6.55 am in 17 Burnbanks, Nigg, Kincardineshire, Scotland 4.). The cause of her death was valvular heart disease over years and syncope. |
