   Cause of her death was vomiting of blood over several months and consumption over 12 months.3

   Other names for Catherine were DORAS, Catherine,4 DORRIS, Catherine,2 DOURIS, Catherine,2 QUEEN, Catherine 3 and QUEEN, Cathrine.5

  General Notes:

When Catherine Queen died in 1879, her death certificate recorded her as 45 years of age and married to owen Queen, coalminer. It was he who notified the registrar of her death. Both of her parents were deceased. 3


Catherine married Owen QUIN, son of Owen QUIN and Margaret MURPHY, in 1855 in Newtonforbes, Longford, Ireland.1 (Owen QUIN was born in 1835 in Longford County, Ireland 1 and died on 4 February 1911 in Blantyre, Lanarkshire, Scotland 1.)
