McCOLE, Cornelius ¹

  General Notes:

1901 Census:
Cornelius and Annie McCole and their one year old son John were living in Scott Street Baillieston. With them was living Hugh McCole, brother of Cornelius. The two men had been born in Ireland; Hugh was the younger aged 26 years and Cornelius was 31 years of age. Both were coal miners. Annie was 33 years old and had been born in Stevenston Ayrshire. John had been born in Baillieston.

Cornelius married Ann SMITH, daughter of Robert SMYTH and Sibby McKENDRICK, on 26 November 1897 in St Bridget's RC Church, Baillieston, Lanarkshire, Scotland.^{1 2} (Ann SMITH was born 31 January 1864 at 4.30 pm in Mr F. Wilson's Land, Townhead Street, Stevenston, Ayrshire, Scotland ^{3 4}.)

  Marriage Notes:

Thomas and Mary Reynolds were witnesses at the marriage of Ann and Cornelius. The couple were married by Dean Terken. ²
