  • Born: 1340 1
  • Marriage (1): DE SETON, Christiana
  • Died: 1420 1

  General Notes:

"Patrick's ( Patrick V, Earl of March ) second wife was Agnes, eldest daughter of Thomas Randolph, first earl of Moray (d. 1332), and Isabel, daughter of Sir John Stewart of Bunkle. The marriage was childless and after Patrick's death the earldom of March passed to George Dunbar, the eldest son of Patrick's cousin."

from People of Medieval Scotland

Note: in https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/George_Dunbar,_10th_Earl_of_March it is stated that George succeeded his 'first cousin once removed' Patrick V, Earl of March (1284/5-1368/9).
If that were the relationship, rather than first cousin, it would mean that George was the son of Patrick's first cousin; or to put it another way Patrick's grandparents, Patrick III, Earl of Dunbar (1213-1289) and Cecilia, were the great-grandparents of George. The approximate dates would support this. 2 3

George married Christiana DE SETON, daughter of Alan DE WYNTOUN and Margaret DE SETON Heiress of Seton. (Christiana DE SETON was born about 1347.)
