Living with him was his wife Marry [sic], their seven children, and what may have been two boarders: Duncan Brown (13 years) a coal miner born in Lanarkshire, and John Sherrey (30-34 years) also a coal miner, born in Ireland.

The cause of her death was paralysis over 2 days.
