Cause of her death was valvular disease of the heart.6
In 1881 Alice was recorded as 38 years of age. The 1881 census recorded her living with her husband and five children at 15 Stonecraigs Row Cambusnethan in Lanarkshire.

Alice married Francis VALLELY, son of Francis VALLELY and Mary CAMPBELL, on 17 November 1867 in Dungannon, County Tyrone, Ireland.1 (Francis VALLELY was born in Ireland 3, baptised on 11 April 1824 in Dungannon Parish, County Tyrone, Ireland 9 and died 9 September 1892 at 2.15 pm in Kirklands Land, Newmains, Lanarkshire, Scotland 3.). The cause of his death was dilatation of stomach over 2 months and asthenia.6
