CADDELL, Richard 1
Another name for Richard was CADLE, Richard.4
Richard and Susan emigrated to Canada. The 1891 census of Canada recorded them living in British Columbia. They had six children, four sons and two daughters. Of both Richard and Susan it was recorded that they were 34 years old, had been born in Ireland, as had their parents, and their religion was 'CE'. By occupation Richard was a street labourer. From their children's births it would appear that after leaving Scotland they went to Ontario, Canada, and were there from about 1884 until 1890 or 1891. Their last child, one month old when the census was taken in mid-May 1891, was born in British Columbia. 1 5
